06 June 2003 Beer and Friday Fives Time for a Friday Five 1. How many times have you truly been in love? Truly? Just the once :D 2. What was/is so great about the person you love(d) the most? He's intelligent, kind, a great cook, funny, puts up with my bad moods, faithful, puts me first in his world.....and he's great in bed ;-) 3. What qualities should a significant other have? They have to be your best friend. If your partner's not your best friend then there's something seriously wrong with the relationship. 4. Have you ever broken someone's heart? Yes. Badly. I did something really, really awful. 5. If there was one thing you could teach people about love, what would it be? Never settle. Stay on your own before you'd settle because if you tie yourself down with someone because you think you're not going to have another chance, you'll only stop yourself meeting the right person. Oh, and be prepared to meet people half-way. If you set stupid targets like he must be earning a certain amount of money or come from a particular background then you deserve to be sad and lonely. And that's me for today folks - I'm paying host to another Diarylander for the weekend and there's beer to be drunk!
